Terms & Conditions
As a professional Mobile Disco and to ensure there are no misunderstandings
we work to the following terms and conditions.
Quotations:
A written quotation will be sent to clients detailing the Date, times, venue and function. It is the client's responsibility to ensure these details are correct. The quotation is valid for 14 days. The booking may be confirmed by payment of a booking deposit.
Booking Deposit:
A booking deposit is required to secure the date for your booking. Upon receipt of your booking deposit a booking confirmation will be issued.Deposits will not be refunded under any circumstances as we reject all other offers of business for the date which you have booked for our services.
Payment:
All outstanding balances must be paid by the date specified on the quotation and booking confirmation if no written quotation or booking confirmation has been issued balance is payable on the date of the booking prior to commencement of the event. Note: If paying by cheque, the cheque must arrive with us, at least 7 days prior to the date of the event.
Access to Venue:
We will require adequate access to the venue prior to & after the booking to allow setting up & breaking down of equipment. A minimum of 30 minutes (but preferably 60 minutes) should be allowed for setting up and 30 minutes for packing up and vacating the premises. When selecting a venue for your event, please be aware that we have a lot of heavy equipment to set up. Venues with flights of stairs and / or long distances from our vehicle to the stage are not suitable venues for our services. Such venues require additional setting up requirements and will also result in an increased fee for your event.
We DO NOT take bookings for residential properties or un-licensed properties not fit or suitable for live music or actsSpace:
We normally need an approximate space of 4 x 3 metres. We do our utmost to work with any space constraints there may be. We will also require a table area, a minimum 6ft x 3ft and preferably 8ft x 4ft.
Electricity:
The client is responsible for the provision of a suitable and safe electricity supply. We require a minimum of two 13-amp mains sockets.
Cancellation by Client:
Booking Deposits are non-refundable. Any cancellation of a pre-paid and confirmed booking 6 months or less, prior to the booking date will result in the loss of the full amount paid.In the event that our DJ arrives to find that the customer has double booked with another entertainment, the full booking fee, previously confirmed, will be payable. It is your responsibility to ensure that we are not double booked with another form of entertainment.
Refreshments:
Don't forget that the DJ and any assistants can work very long hours. Please bear them in mind with regard to the provision of adequate food and soft drinks.
Extended Playing Time:
Wherever possible and providing it is in agreement with the management of the venue, we will aim to accommodate the client's requests for extensions to playing time. This will be subject to an additional half hourly charge and will be at the sole discrecion of the DJ at the venue.
Licencing:
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the venue is suitably licensed for the event.
Safety:
If at any time before or during the function we deem our persons or property to be under threat, verbally or physically, we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate the disco without further notice. In the event of this happening refunds are not applicable.On Stage Behaviour:
1. You must NOT bang or tap any microphones we have supplied or that are connected to our equipment
2. You must NOT swing by the cable any microphones we have supplied or that are connected to our equipment
3. You must NOT place any containers with liquids on ANY of our stage equipment.
4. You must NOT attempt to climb on speakers or any of our other stage equipment.
As the hirer of our services it is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient crowd control and security measures are taken to prevent damage to our equipment and to ensure our personal safety. You (The Hirer) WILL be liable for any damage caused to our equipment or any injury to our staff, by any member(s) of the general public on the booked date and you will be charged for the replacement/repair costs of damaged items.
Photography:
We reserve the right to photograph any event that we supply equipment or services to for our own publicity and promotional purposes.
